# Delete customer

Use this endpoint to delete customer data (anonymize a <<glossary:customer>>) in Cleeng. Customer data is anonymized for reporting reasons, and also to comply with privacy legislation (such as GDPR). <br><br> The following personal customer data will be anonymized/deleted: email, password, first name, last name, address, company name, phone number, capture custom answers, IP addresses. <br><br> You **cannot** remove a customer’s data if the customer has an active entitlement (e.g. active subscription). <br><br> **Important: Please note that anonymization is an irreversible process.**
